I love not only photographing weddings, engagements and portrait sessions, but telling the wonderfully beautiful love stories of each and every one of my clients. Enjoy!
Several years ago, Ben met Jenny when they were both working on a Marquette, Michigan beach. Ben was a park patrol officer, Jenny a lifeguard for the city. They hit it off instantly and have enjoyed a relationship filled with love, laughter and adventure ever since that day.
Fast forward to August of 2019 when they were married along the shores of the same Great Lake where their love story began. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, these two recited their own heartfelt vows during a ceremony officiated by a lifelong friend of the bride, underneath a stunning white arch that was hand-crafted by the groom.
I have been looking forward to photographing Mallory and Pat’s wedding since last fall when I first met them. The second we met on that Lake Superior beach for their engagement session, I knew that they were going to be two of the most fun-loving, kind and special clients I’ve ever had the pleasure of serving. They share a love that’s so honest, fun and real that it just makes you happy to be in their presence. From the start of their engagement session to the end, they were laughing the whole time. Their wedding day was no different.
It may be cliché, but there is NO doubt that the love of these two incredible human beings is contagious. Brittany and Matt admitted to me that they like to do things a little differently. Their Halloween-themed wedding will feature a color palette of black, deep burgundy and gold, and will highlight their “rocker” personalities. We sought to make their engagement session fit that mold, going for an industrial feel in Downtown Marquette.
