This summer has been crazy busy. Between photographing a half dozen weddings, raising two little kiddos, working full time, Rick changing jobs and all of the other things life has thrown at us, for some crazy reason, we decided to sell our home and buy a new one. We’re definitely insane, right?
Despite all of the stress buying, selling and moving caused us over the past few months, it was so worth it. We finally feel settled in our new Negaunee home and are loving making new memories in this special place.
If you’re ever in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in mid-August and looking for a great day trip, the sunflower field at Hall Farms is a must-see. With over 400,000 sunflowers, free admission (donations requested) and the ability to cut your own flowers, this place is truly a treat.
On this stunning afternoon, Ashley, Brett and I ventured into the frigid temps to celebrate their love in a breathtaking winter wonderland. The tree branches were still coated with ice from the week before and the fresh coat of snow gave us a clean slate everywhere. It was cold. Like really cold. But it was BEAUTIFUL!
