I love not only photographing weddings, engagements and portrait sessions, but telling the wonderfully beautiful love stories of each and every one of my clients. Enjoy!
Several years ago, Ben met Jenny when they were both working on a Marquette, Michigan beach. Ben was a park patrol officer, Jenny a lifeguard for the city. They hit it off instantly and have enjoyed a relationship filled with love, laughter and adventure ever since that day.
Fast forward to August of 2019 when they were married along the shores of the same Great Lake where their love story began. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, these two recited their own heartfelt vows during a ceremony officiated by a lifelong friend of the bride, underneath a stunning white arch that was hand-crafted by the groom.
As a police officer for the city, Ben was able to get us special permission to enter the abandoned, iconic Lower Harbor Ore Dock for some intimate portraits of the couple. It was such a neat experience to be out on the water in such a remarkable piece of local history that most don’t get to walk on. We also adventured to the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse for more group portraits, and made a stop at Black Rocks at Marquette’s Presque Isle Park.
It was an absolutely perfect, breathtaking day. Jenny and Ben: I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. I hope you cherish your images for many, many years to come.
