Even though I primarily shoot weddings and engagements, capturing growing families is one of my absolute favorite things to do! I was blessed to spend Sunday morning with this adorable little man, Orrin Henry, and his two incredible parents.
Megan and Andrew have been dear friends of mine for many years, and when Megan asked me if I would take newborn photos of their brand new man, I seriously could not have been more excited! Not only was I thrilled to get to meet (and hold and snuggle!) the new little mister, but I couldn’t wait to see the nursery she had been working on in person. Knowing Megan’s sense of style and her passion for vintage things, I knew it would be jaw-dropping. But it completely surpassed my expectations. It would make every single Pottery Barn designer green with envy. She chose the most beautiful, thoughtful and practical details throughout the room. An entire locker for diapering supplies? Yes, please! The new pieces were accented perfectly by a number of unique, vintage finds. I loved her simplistic take on the the woodland/adventure theme. So many kudos to her and her mom Vicki for pulling it together so perfectly!
Orrin was such a little angel throughout our entire session. He snoozed for most of the images, only waking up a couple of times for a quick snack break and because his puppies were curious about what he was doing laying in his big crib.
Knowing the couple personally, it was seriously so sweet to see how much they love and adore this new little man of theirs. Mr. Orrin: You have been blessed with two very wonderful humans as parents!
