If the age-old expression, “It’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day,” is true, then these two love birds will have enough luck to last them several lifetimes! On a wet and cool Saturday in June, Mandy and Aaron vowed their love and devotion to each other in front of their friends, families and God. It was nothing short of spectacular, and it was such an honor to be by their side.
I loved the simple elegance that was incorporated throughout the day: black and white invitations, white linens with soft fabric runners, a simple number atop each table, and a small succulent for each guest as a favor. The pops of blush and green in the floral arrangements by Lutey’s Flower Shop and cupcakes by Joe’s Cakes tied everything together perfectly. Mandy and Aaron really figured out how to make everyone feel so warm and welcome (even though the rain was chilling!), and it was clear they put a ton of heart and thought into every detail.
Decor and rain aside, Mandy and Aaron are the reason I will always cherish being a part of the wedding celebration. Despite the rain, they were so positive, loving and kind to each other, their guests and their vendors all day long. They are truly perfect together and such a joy to be around.
Mandy and Aaron, from our first Skype meeting to your stunning wedding day, I’ve honestly felt so blessed to be a part of your love story. Thank you a million times for choosing me, and may God bless your journey together as husband and wife!
